Hilton Atlanta Downtown Hotel - Georgia
Vast property—a city within a city Atlanta's major convention centers, sports venues, tourist attractions and world-class shopping all are within a two-mile radius of the downtown Hilton and most are right outside the door one block off Peachtree Street in Atlanta's most popular location for major hotels. Rooms are tastefully conservative, furnished with modern cherry wood furniture and neutral colors. Designed for conventioneers and not overly arty, the rooms are equally comfortable and practical for business and leisure travelers. Aside from 63,000 square feet of meeting rooms conveniently located on one floor, amenities include a full-service Kinko's in the lobby open seven days a week; gift shops with dress shirts, ties and luggage; and ample sofas and coffee tables perfectly suited for pre-meeting strategy sessions. If it can’t be found in the lobby, a catwalk extends over to the Mall at Peachtree Center.

Nikolai's Roof - Paris meets Moscow with stunning skyline views of Atlanta from 30 floors up in the only downtown restaurant to receive a Mobil four-star rating. It offers French cuisine with a Russian flair and a wine list of more than 400 labels, all served by waiters in imperial Russian uniforms. Or just come up to enjoy the views and have a drink at the Point of View lounge. Jacket and tie are required at Nikolai's Roof. Trader Vic's - Tiki torches and palm trees are the look, and savory Pan Pacific delights are served from traditional Chinese smoke ovens at this popular meeting place. And, of course, tropical drinks are the specialty at the Mai Tai Bar. Garden Terrace - Located in the lobby of the downtown Hilton, the Garden Terrace is open for breakfast and lunch, specializing in American fare with a Southern flair. A wall of windows and a waterfall statue give the place the feel of a patio, and its Sunday champagne brunch is a popular stop. Le Café - Adjacent to the Garden Terrace, this is more casual, quick dining, complete with a lunch counter. Café Express - For guests on the go, the Café Express is perfect for a snack, Starbucks coffee, or a wide assortment of juices, whole fruit, and sandwiches. It's right in the lobby, providing counter service, and is open 24 hours a day.

AMENITIES & SERVICES
What to expect: Though geared for the business traveler, the Hilton caters to the needs of all. This is a city within a city, with its in-house Kinko's, shops, restaurants and recreational facilities. But it's also conveniently located right off Atlanta's signature street, Peachtree Street, and is adjacent to a MARTA rail station, which accesses hundreds of other Atlanta sites. Amenity highlights: This is a resort hotel in convention hotel clothing. The hotel fitness center (available for an extra fee) has recently been renovated with new locker rooms, saunas, and equipment, and there is an outdoor pool, three tennis courts (two lighted), and a jogging track. An additional bonus, this is the only hotel in downtown Atlanta with an outdoor basketball court (also lighted). Insider tip: The hotel tapers as it rises. If guests are willing to sacrifice the cityscape views, the rooms on the third and fourth floors are slightly larger. The hotel also participates in "Project Planet," which allows guests to decide whether they want to help conserve water by not having their linens and towels washed every day of their stay.
The hotel features a quasi-atrium design—the lobby is open all the way to the roof except for some of the terraced floors that jut out on all sides. Its three 28-story wings spoke out from the middle, each offering a different view of Atlanta. Valet parking: $5-15 per day. In/out privileges. Underground/covered/secured lot. Self parking available with no in/out privileges. Note: Fees may not include tax and are subject to change without prior notification.
